This long-awaited CD has been recorded over the last few years and includes 17 tracks of music in the tradition, with many of the tunes written by band members, notably the prolific Matt. The CD includes guests on a few tracks: Alice Burn on Northumbrian smallpipes and Claire McTaggart on fiddle and viola, plus there is an archive track recorded in the 1990s featuring our original band member, the demon flautist Peter Hawkey.

The CD was recorded partly by Keith Mills at BBC Radio Newcastle and partly at John's Dogger Bank Studio.  It features a good cross-section of the band's repertoire of dance sets, tunes and songs. Tracks have been used in BBC and other programmes. The CD costs £10 from the band; it's also available from the Chantry in Morpeth & other outlets.

Originally a cassette (WORM003)recorded by the original band line-up in 1992, Barker's Yarka was released as a limited edition CD in 2002 and is now a rare collector's item!  If demand is ever sufficient....
